Dr. Michael Anthony Pasquale
Dr. Michael Pasquale is one of Hawaii's top plastic surgeons. His unique qualifications and insight into female genital surgery are not only from his qulaifications as a board certified plastic surgeon but of training beyond that. Of special note, Dr. Pasquale is one of the few plastic surgeons in the world who has not only completed a full residency in plastic surgery but has also earned a 2-year training certificate specifically in the subspecialty of cosmetic surgery. He earned this certificate in Manhattan N.Y., at NYU Downtown Hospital, under some of New York’s leading cosmetic and plastic surgeons.
In addition to his training in plastic surgery, Dr. Pasquale trained in some very special areas of plastic surgery under the worlds leaders in genital surgery and reconstruction early on.
His first experience was over 20 years ago under the tutelage of Stanley Biber MD the pioneer of sex change procedures. Later Dr. Pasquale spent over one year as part of his reconstructive microsurgery fellowship studying under Dr. Horton well known for his skill and knowledge in genital surgery. Dr. Pasquale was very fortunate to have had seen these masters at work and learned from them. The present knowledge and foundation for genital surgery such as peronnies diesese treatment, sex change procedures and vaginal reeconstruction was all based on these pioneers work and others.
Dr. Pasquale 15 years ago performed his first labiaplasty and has since refined his techniques. He has been a leader in this specialized areana perfecting his cosmetic result.
